About This Spot

Stepping into La Cervecería de Barrio Suc Polanco feels like settling into a lively corner where the rhythm of the city softens just enough to invite easy conversation and the slow appreciation of flavors. Nestled within Polanco’s vibrant streets, this bar & grill balances a casual energy with a welcoming warmth that encourages lingering into the evening. The atmosphere invites a blend of locals and visitors drawn to good company and thoughtfully prepared plates, all while a curated selection of beers and cocktails flow alongside the hum of quiet laughter and friendly chatter.

Here, the pace is unhurried but alive — a place to watch the world from a comfortable seat and savor moments both familiar and new. The menu is a playful exploration of seafood with a few surprises that nod to Mexican culinary creativity. Imagine biting into tender, crisp shrimp tacos that carry a subtle kick or sharing a plate of Pulpo Al Pastor, where smoky, spiced flavors meet the sea. Meanwhile, the drinks menu offers more than just refreshment; it’s a companion to the food, from local craft brews to cocktails that feel thoughtfully tailored to the menu’s character.

The staff contribute as much to the experience as the kitchen — attentive without crowding, they add a layer of genuine care that makes each visit feel comfortably personal. Whether settling in to catch a game, meeting friends for drinks, or slowly working through the menu’s intriguing seafood options, La Cervecería de Barrio offers a relaxed yet subtly vibrant space where time feels slightly more generous.

Very nice spot for food and drinks. The menu is around 80% seafood and 20% other things. Been there a couple of times and the service is always nice, friendly and attentive. The food is also always very good. They also have a great variety of beers, drinks and cocktails. I particularly like the tuna tostadas.

Needless to say, great tacos - especially shrimp and ribeye! We’ve had steak and seafood as well and they were all amazing! I highly recommend.

We went out for drinks to watch the Canelo fight. The service was good, the drinks were enjoyable, and the guacamole was tasty, but it was a bit small. It's a great area for having a drink.

Great spot for drinking beer and watching the world go by. Nice selection of beers plus a full bar. Lots of things on the menu, too! The brochette de camarones hit the spot. Wonderfully friendly and attentive staff. It's a fun place.

Great spot! Excellent fish quesabirrias. Wow. Never seen anything like these. Great fish/seafood options and creative menu. Sirloin queso tacos also excellent. Very reasonably priced. I’d come back.
